Arunachal Pradesh government has initiated the Arogya Arunachal Yojana in the state with the main focus of giving financial help to the poor tribal families. Key Features of the CM Arogya Arunachal Yojana
Developing the medical sector –
For better handling of health issues and giving proper financial help to the poor people of Arunachal Pradesh, the CMAAY will be implemented. The state authority will take the responsibility to assist empanelled hospitals provide top-level health facilities to poor dwellers of the state.
Offering cashless treatment –
As per the rules of the above-said scheme, cashless medical treatment will be given to the poor people of the state. Patients will not have to pay anything for the treatment and instead, it will be paid by the state government on behalf of poor people.
Amount allotment for scheme –
Arunachal state government will be given rupees 5 lakh to every family yearly as per the scheme rules. Further, it has been decided that for secondary treatment, patient’s family will be given rupees 1 lakh and rupees 4 lakh will be given for tertiary treatment.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scheme –
Residential eligibility –
As the scheme has been introduced in Arunachal Pradesh, only the state residents can become part of the scheme. So, free medical treatment is available only for the state dwellers.
Belonging to tribal and backward community –
Applicants belonging to tribal community of the state or APST are eligible to get medical benefits under the above said scheme. Other than this, the non-tribal residents of Namsai, Lohit, Changlang are also included in the scheme.
Government employees –
The above said health insurance scheme is also applicable for state government employees to avail free medical treatment. Other than this, other government servants can also become part of the health scheme and avail its perks.
Documents Required
Residential proof –
Families who wish to get scheme benefits have to furnish their residential proof at the time of online registration. The legal residential proof will be required to offer them the benefits of the scheme.
Ration card and Aadhaar card –
Both ration card and Aadhaar card should be introduced by the families at the time of online registration under the scheme. The ration card details will be required to be checked at the time of the online registration for the scheme.
Government ID cards –
As government employees, families have to submit the government cards that shall have the department they are working in at the time of online registration for the above said scheme benefits.
Birth or marriage certificate –
