Delhi Majdur Sahayata Yojana (Construction (Labour) Worker online registration, Card, second installment of 5000 rs)
Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal has declared the initiative of The Delhi Majdur Sahayata Yojana aiming for the construction workers. The decision has been finalized in a meeting with Construction Workers Welfare Board chaired by Labor Minister Gopal Rai. The official portal and date of registration are yet to be launched by the state government. The decision has been taken due to extended nationwide lockdown. Target group of the scheme –
The construction workers in Delhi are the main target group of the above said scheme.
Main objective of the scheme –
Delhi government has planned to offer financial help to the workers of the state due to the outbreak of the pandemic. With the money, it would be easy for the workers to meet up financial requirements.
Financial assistance given for the scheme –
The construction workers will be given rupees 5000 from the state government due to extended lockdown.
Portal launch –
To help the construction workers register online, a separate portal will be launched. Through this, it would be easy for the construction workers to register to get the financial help under the scheme. The new workers have to visit the portal once launched to get suitable information about online registration.
Date of registration –
On 15th May, Delhi government will start with online registration campaign. After this, the registration procedure will start on the 25th of May.
Fund transferred to bank accounts–
According to the Delhi Majdur Sahayata Yojana, the state authorities will transfer the money in the bank account of the construction workers. For this, the bank account should be an active one and linked with Aadhaar card.
Eligibility criteria
Residential details –
The scheme has been launched in Delhi, and so, only the permanent residents of the state are eligible to avail of the scheme benefits.
Construction workers –
Only construction workers of Delhi, are eligible to register for the scheme benefits.
Bank account –
The beneficiary should have an active bank account link with the scheme to receive the money provided by the state government.
Identification details –
The candidates have to produce authentic identification proof at the time of online registration under the scheme.
Documents required under the scheme
Residential proof –
The workers have to furnish suitable residential proof to justify that they are the permanent residents of Delhi.
Construction workers –
Only the construction workers are eligible to avail of the scheme. For this, they have to produce suitable document related to work.
Bank account details –
The candidates have to produce bank account number, IFSC code, branch name and other information as the financial aid would be credited in the bank account.
Identification documents –
As identification details, the candidate should produce Aadhaar card, ration card, Voter ID card and other related to justify their identification details at the time of online registration under the scheme.
Delhi Mazdoor Sahayata Yojana online application procedure
As this scheme is a recent launch, the procedure for online registration is yet to be declared by the state government. Even the online portal related to the scheme is yet to be started and as soon as it comes up, the beneficiaries selected under the scheme will be the first to know about it. For this, it would be better to frequently visit the portal to get suitable information. However, it has been said that the portal will be launched on 15th May, 2020. Through this, the construction workers at Delhi can opt for online registration.
Therefore, by successful launch of the scheme, it shall help the state government to improve the financial condition of the state workers. The financial aid will be credited in the linked bank account. The state authorities are trying their best to implement the scheme at the earliest.
